Diploma in Supply Chain & Operations Management<\/p>\n Objectives:<\/p>\n This course aims to equip students with the skills to apply science-based techniques to work-related problems, business forecasting, quantitative and heuristic problem-solving, supply chain, quality management, and to develop decision support, scheduling and control systems. This course is ideal for students who wish to learn more about supply chain and operations management.<\/p>\n Course Duration:<\/p>\n This course (Full-time\/Part-time) consists of 9 modules. All modules will be completed within 9 months<\/p>\n Course Outline:<\/p>\n There are 9 modules in total:<\/p>\n – Business Law & Ethics\uff1b<\/p>\n – International Economics\uff1b<\/p>\n – Organisational Behaviour & Culture;<\/p>\n – Principles of Accounting\uff1b<\/p>\n – Principles of Marketing\uff1b<\/p>\n – Principles of Management\uff1b<\/p>\n – Legal Issues in Transportation and Logistics\uff1b<\/p>\n – Purchasing and Procurement Management\uff1b<\/p>\n – Warehouse and Inventory Management<\/p>\n Course Time\uff1a<\/p>\n There will be 6 hours of lesson time each week\uff08Part-time\uff09\uff1b<\/p>\n There will be 5 lessons x 3 hours each week\uff08Full-time\uff09\uff1b<\/p>\n Schedule of the classes will be planned to suit the course’s needs\uff1b<\/p>\n There will be no classes conducted during public holidays and school holidays.<\/p>\n Teacher Students Ratio 1: <22<\/p>\n Minimum Entry Requirement<\/p>\n Applicants must be 18 years or above and fulfil the following requirements<\/p>\n *GCE \u201cO\u201d level passes or a recognized High School Diploma or Equivalent.<\/p>\n *Applicants with 9 years’ formal education and 5 years’ work experiences will be considered on case by case basis.<\/p>\n *English Language with at least one GCE O Level; or passed the language proficiency test of Nanyang Asia College or equivalent.<\/p>\n Assessment Examination: <\/p>\n There are two assessment papers:<\/p>\n Paper 1: Section A 20 MCQ (Open Book) (each answer = 2 marks = 40 marks in total )<\/p>\n Paper 2: Section B (50 marks in total) (Closed Book)<\/p>\n Essay Questions: To answer 2 out of 3 questions (each answer = 25 marks = 50 marks in total)<\/p>\n Attendance\/Presentation: 10 marks<\/p>\n Course Completion & Certification:<\/p>\n Upon completion of the 9 modules, those who fulfilled the required attendance and pass all the assessments will be awarded a Diploma in Supply Chain and Operations Management certificate by Nanyang Asia College.<\/p>\n Attendance must not less than 75%\uff08Part-time\uff09or 90%\uff08Full-time) and not absent without valid reason for more than 7 consecutive days.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":920,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"product_brand":[],"product_cat":[37],"product_tag":[],"class_list":{"0":"post-1198","1":"product","2":"type-product","3":"status-publish","4":"has-post-thumbnail","6":"product_cat-37","8":"first","9":"instock","10":"sale","11":"featured","12":"taxable","13":"shipping-taxable","14":"purchasable","15":"product-type-simple"},"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
