OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management & Leadership

Introduction

This course links to professional body requirements and National Standards with a clear work-related emphasis.The qualification provide relatively shorter programs of study that meet the individual needs of learners. There is a strong emphasis on practical skills development alongside the development of requisite knowledge and understanding in the sector. Successful completion of the qualifications enables learners to progress into and join the MBA Advanced Entry route under the London Graduate School awarded by the University of Buckingham or University of Gloucestershire and other UK Universities .

Minimum Entry Requirement

1. Minimum Bachelor Degree or Honour Degree at Level 6 or any overseas degree equivalent (OR)

2. For mature candidates, at least 30 years old with 8 years of working experience may be considered subject to OTHM approval

3. Pass in English at GCE ‘O’ Level or IELTS 5.5 or equivalent

Assessment Methods and Weightages:

MCQ & Written Examination: A three-hour examination comprising 50% of the marks for the module.
Assignment: Report or Presentation comprising 40% of the marks for the module.
Attendance and Participation: 10%.

Course duration

This course consists of 6 units. All modules will be completed within 8 months;

Schedule of the classes will be planned to suit the course’s needs;

There will be no classes conducted during public holidays and school holidays.

Part time: There will be 2 days x 7.5 hours each week;

Full time: There will be 5 days x 3 hours each week.

ICA Processing Fee, Student’s Pass Insurance Fee and Multiple-Entry Visa Fee	105-135 (Upon fee is required by ICA)

Miscellaneous Fees refer to any non-compulsory fees which the students pay only when applicable. Such fees are normally collected by the PEI when the need arises

Miscellaneous fees are indicated in the student contract.
NYAC does not accept payment in foreign currency.

Course Duration

There are two semesters per year. Semester 1 runs from April to September (6 months); on the other hand, semester 2 runs from October to March (6 months). Depending on the student-applicant’s level, some students may need to take both Semesters 1 and 2 to complete the whole course. A monthly assessment is also administered.

Students may join classes at any time in the year as long as they agree to the school’s terms and conditions.
