Advanced Diploma in Supply Chain & Operations Management
Objectives:
This course aims to provide the students with advanced knowledge on Supply Chain and operations management, and further understanding of managing the supply chain and operations management in the relevantindustry. Students can apply the knowledge in the transport management, operations management and international aspects of supply chain and heuristic problem solving and are effective in the ever evolving arena of the supply chain and operations management industries.
Course Outline:
There are 6 modules in total:
– Operations Management;
– E-Commerce with Logistics;
– Human Resource and Cross Culture Management;
– Project Management and Project Planning;
– Supply Chain & Logistics Systems;
– Transportation Management
Course duration
This course consists of 6 modules. All modules will be completed within 6 months.
Part time: There will be 2 days x 3 hours each week
Full time: There will be 5 days x 3 hours each week
Schedule of the classes will be planned to suit the course’s needs.
There will be no classes conducted during public holidays and school holidays.

Minimum Entry Requirement:
Diploma from Nanyang Asia College or equivalent from other institutions
Assessment Methods and Weightages:
- MCQ & Written Examination: A three-hour examination comprising 50% of the marks for the module.
- Assignment: Report or Presentation comprising 40% of the marks for the module.
- Attendance and Participation: 10%.
Course Completion & Certification:
Upon completion of the 6 modules, those who fulfilled the required attendance and pass all the assessments will be awarded an Advanced Diploma in Supply Chain and Operations Management certificate by Nanyang Asia College.
Attendance must not less than 75%(part-time)90%(full-time) and not absent without valid reason for more than 7 consecutive days.
